The frame is handmade by a cabinet maker in Nittedal, just North of Oslo using locally sourced wood. Each unique frame is individually numbered on the reverse. The joints are made with dowels and a butterfly joint at the front of the frame in a contrasting wood. This frame is stained with white pigment before finishing with Osmo matte hardwax oil.
Because each frame is individually handmade from solid wood, there will be variations in appearance.
For every frame purchased I shall plant a tree in the drylands of Africa, to improve the environment and provide food for impoverished people through the TreeAid project.
